Kuchikopi Nightlight

Not a lot I can say here. I love Bob's Burgers and I wanted to bring some part of it to life. The small poster in the back and the cover art on all the books were sourced online. The small onion poster is from Bob's Burgers, but I'm not sure if it connects to any real world property or anything like that. Each of the books were modeled by me, but the art is from scans of actual book covers. I didn't have a lot to go on in terms of which books titles to use for the environmental story telling. Louise is hard to pin down, she puts on a tough front, but secretly has a pretty soft side. Still, she never mentions reading or books for that mater. So, most of the books are books I'd like to have on my shelf but that I could see her as secretly, maybe, reading.

The Kuchikopi nightlight model itself is completely fabricated with some general blobs. I couldn't manage to get the lines to look right when I merged the objects, so while the head and body are connected properly, the arms just stuck on there. I did manage to get the eyes, ears, and mouth merged into the model, but I didn't really optimize the mesh at all - I just wanted it to look go for this one shot. I made a few basic textures to look like the type of rubber it seems to be made of and that was that.

The woodgrain texture and the surface imperfections were from Poliigon.

Finally, this image has inspired a larger Bob's Burger fanart build that's still a work in progress.
